Possible to turn off UK terminology?

Background:

First - I had C3D 2017 Student version (English) installed on a laptop.

Second - I bought a new laptop and needed to install C3D Student version on this one. I understand that I am allowed 2 seats of the Student version under the student license.

Problem - However, the only option for C3D I was given was the English UK version. Same C3D but different terminology (Chainage? Plus others)

Question - Can I switch this language turn standard US English terminology?

Thank you for any help you can send my way.

Sincerely,

Dutch

The US and the UK English are two different installs of Civil 3D. You would need to uninstall the UK version and reinstall a US version.

I was afraid of that... I was hoping there were setting options within the
English UK version. Now my problem is that there is no option for the
English version in the download listing. I am assuming it is due to it
already being installed on the first laptop.

Thank you for the help. I'll see if I can contact someone at Autodesk and
ask how to find the correct version.

Just wanted to give an update. I was able to find and download what I believe to be the US English version of C3D. I didn't however, uninstall the UK version prior to doing so. Now wishing I had. US version seems to still have some UK terminology mixed in. Instead of Parcels C3D lists Plots. I think it is using stationing instead of the UK chainage terms so that's good. I'm going to just leave it this way for now since this does not hinder my work right now. If I run into anymore problems I will post them.

Thank you for your help.
