Hi All,

I have attached drawing in which I have drawn line & curves from best fir option, and joined all of them using join command. The 3D polyline which got created (white line) as a final object is not getting converted to alignment. Please guide.

First off what versio of C3d are you using.
Also check to see if there are any elevations assigned to any of the vertexes. Make sure you are selecting the "create from polyline".9

When making this 3d polyline into an alignment keep an eye on the command line. After selecting the 3d line you see that it says that isn't not a supported object for this and then lists the ones that are supported.   The solution is to simply covert it into one of those supposed objects.  A polyline is supported  and FLATTEN command will convert from a 3d polyline into a polyline (2d). Then you can make an alignment from that polyline.

It can also be useful - check the Z vertices.
