Hello!
I am writing to ask for your help. I am working on the design of a culvert of 2 pipes of 72 inches in diameter, in parallel and both end in a headwall of 0.20 m thickness.
When I use Civil 3d to place the headwall structure and pipes in both, the plan view drawing and the cross section view, notice that by default, Civil 3d places the elevation of the invert of the pipe at the midpoint of the headwall. Therefore my questions are:
1- How can I tell Civil 3D to place the pipe elevation invert, exactly at the exit of the head wall and not in the middle?
2- How can I change to 0.20m, the thickness of the head wall that Civil 3d brings, which by default had a thickness of 0.305m?
3- When I check the information in the program's help, i notice that by default Civil 3d calculates and places the elevation of the crown in the pipe upper part, but inside the pipe. But as I recall from what i learned in school, the crown of the pipe, is the point upper on the outside of the pipe. I am right? If so, why does Civil 3d calculate it inside the pipe?
Is there a way to change this?
Thank you very much for the information you can provide me.
Benjamin
