Pipe Network has phantom clone

Hi all,

I migrated a pipe network created by another user into a new drawing by DREFing the network into the new drawing and promoting the objects.

I thought this would be the simple and easy workflow.  However, my drawing now has this strange phantom clone of the pipe network.  When I move a profile view, I have to regen to get the phantom clone to catch up to the profile view’s new location.  I also have duplicate objects showing over my crossing objects which will fail our drawing control.

Audit does not fix the problem.  The problem persists in both C3D 2024 and 2025.  Has anyone experienced this problem before?  The other solution I can think of is the export the pipe network as a LandXML and reimport it which is probably what I should have done I to begin with.

Selection cycling shows multiple pipes, but there is only one here.

Moving a profile view leaves behind a lingering phantom.

Same pipe is shown multiple times as a crossing object

Best thing to do is to look at the pipe network list in Project Explorer.  It will often show glitched duplicates that won't show in the Prospector.

Thanks

I have had a look and I don't see anything unusual here.

Usually when it is a duplicate network it will show under the top section.  Not sure what is going on there.

I am having the same issue with my own Network in Civil 3D 2025 with Pipes and Structures. If I select only one of the overlapping objects, and I hit delete or erase, all the objects disappear regardless. I have checked my Prospector and Project Explorer, both showing no additional networks in the drawing. and I have attempted to erase and redraw my pipes and structures into the profile with no success. @m_kingdon, did you find a solution to your problem?

I have used autdit and it removed the duplicate pipe network, however I use sheet set manager, which means I would have to print everything from the sanitary sewer or storm sewer sheet, after I audit it. It reappears when I open it back up.
