Pipe network disappeared from section views

I have a roadway project file with complete design. Section views show the corridor section, existing ground surface, feature line projections (which is how I showed locations of existing underground utilities), and a pipe network for proposed storm sewer. Today I opened the file and projected a couple new feature lines onto the cross sections to show locations of existing gas lines. At some point later I noticed my pipe network has disappeared off all the cross sections. When I open the Section View Properties, my pipe network is still in the list and checked as if it's still on. Same thing if I click a cross section and try to "Sample More Sources". The pipe network is already in the list of sampled sources. I removed it and tried to re-add it, but nothing. I even turned all layers on to make sure a layer didn't accidentally get turned off or something, but nothing. Same in model space...no pipe network is showing on my cross sections. Any ideas on what has happened and how to get it to reappear?

Did you check the style of your pipes to make sure the style didn't switch and/or if on the display tab of the pipe style that the view direction for section had the pipe turned on?

I just checked these things and they checked out fine, but I appreciate the ideas. I have an older version of the file where the pipe network still appears on the sections, so I'm using that to compare as well. But so far I've found nothing that is different or would indicate the pipe network wouldn't be appearing on the sections.

Going to suggest a few items.

No broken references correct?

You mentioned you checked these but just to verify, Sample More Source shows it? Section View Properties has it checked? View Group Properties has it checked?

Have you tried creating a new network really quickly to add in as a check?

If you don't have labels on the network in your section have you tried removing the reference completely from the drawing and adding it back in?

I noticed that the pipe network also disappeared off the profile as well, along with all its labels of course. The pipe network still appears in plan view.

I've realized what has happened is that the elevations of the individual storm sewer pipes in my pipe network have somehow changed. The elevations are off by so much (30+ feet) that the pipes no longer show up in the range of elevations shown on the cross sections or the profile. I looked for some pattern, such as if the pipes all shifted vertically by exactly the same amount or something, and what I found was that the slopes of all the pipes are now exactly 1.0%, whereas before some were perhaps at 0.5% and others at 2.0% and so on. So the slopes are now all exactly 1.0% and off vertically by about 30 feet.

How in the world this happened I have no idea... How could that happen all at once to the 30 or so pipes I have in the pipe network?

Depends, someone might have applied a rule to the network. That is odd though but glad you got it figured out.

Thank goodness for backup files; I didn't loose too much work/time. I determined this issue in the file happened during the CAD session when one of our surveyors accessed the file and brought in some new survey points for an existing gas line we potholed. No one else but me would have tried to apply or adjust any pipe rules etc. in this file, so it would have been a complete accident. I just didn't realize that was possible, but I don't think it could have been a random glitch.

Could you please help me with this?

"feature line projections (which is how I showed locations of existing underground utilities), and a pipe network for proposed storm sewer"

I need to show pipes that are not crossing the sample lines in a the section view. Seems like you have it figured out. If you could please explain how you are the projecting the pipe networks to the sections, that would be very helpful. Thank you!
