Pipe length and grades not correct

Has anyone had problems with the lable styles not giving the correct length or the correct  invert elevations in c3d 2018

What does the style say to do? Expressions?...

 

I always lane and compute center structure to center structure and label accordingly

Label is set for 2d c/c. Invert in and out  in one location is off by 0.05

Sometimes when I get really **** about the numbers I’ll force the manhole separation to be exact.

if you are calculating based on Len = 287 feet but they are actually 286.932. I’ll draw a 287 foot circle a make it right. 

Maybe that’s what you have?

Are you saying that the invert elevations as shown in Prospector --> Networks --> Pipes   do not match the labels?

The labels inverts match. 

When the engineer back checks the invert elevations using the length and grade he say's the invert elevations are not correct.

 

I will see if I can get an example dwg  uploaded.

no go on the file upload.

If we take 

Pipe Length x %grade = Drop

                                                                   The two drops do not match. They are off by several hundredths

Invert In Elev. - Out Elev. = Drop

You can have the program do more than "version".

Using the standard C3 D method, your pipe length is measured from CL Structure to CL Structure.
