Pipe Crossings Profile View

This is probably quite a simple one.

I have two pipes crossing each other as shown in the drawing below:

I have displayed the cyan storm pipe system on a profile view and added the purple foul water pipe to the profile view for a clearance check. The pipe shows fine in the standard profile style - Double Line (Sanitary) - however when I override this to Pipe Corssing Pipe (Sanitary), it disappears. All the relevant display components of the style are visible.

It feels like C3D isn't picking the pipe up as a crossing pipe. Why is this happening?

Image of the pipe in the Double Line (Sanitary) style. (Excuse the terrible pipe layout! I'm still learning all this.)

UPDATE

The cyan storm pipes are associated with the alignment shown in green. When I move the foul water manhole across this alignment, it shows up under the crossing style.

What if I do what the cyan pipes to be offset from the alignment, and the manhole to that side?

I think you have discovered why it's not showing up, but now you need a workaround to make it show up, is this correct?

As @rkmcswain said, it looks like you have discovered the problem. The solution to show the oval for the pipe in your profile, place a structure at the intersection of the pipe with a style that shows only the 'structure pipe outline' in profile view and show this structure in the profile. Be careful to keep the hidden structure and connected pipes at the right elevations & alignment. Labeling can be done with a structure label styles and connected pipe components.
