PDF Wipeouts Printing Black to Hard Copy

I have a wipeout issue that's a little different from previous posts. When printing from drawing to either a hard copy or PDF, my text with WIPEOUTs appear as expected--yay! (Example:      R/W       vs.      R/W   )

However, when I then try to print a hard copy from the resulting PDF, the wipeout areas print to hard copy as black blocks.

The problem thus appears to be from within Acrobat (?) but I don't see a GL or Script option within its settings. I know this may not be strictly an Autodesk issue now so my apologies if this is in the wrong thread, but does anyone else have this issue?? If so, any solutions?!

Thanks, all

Can you upload a sample drawing and associated PDF, please?

I was actually just now able to solve the problem (I think?!) by using the "DWG to PDF" printer in the Page Setup Manager instead of the Adobe PDF option.

Thank you!

If you are running a current enough version, I would suggest using "AutoCAD PDF ( level of quality ).PC3".  A little new print engine, and it seems to be faster to print.

Thanks, I will try that. My Civil 3D and Adobe Acrobat are both as up-to-date as possible. Much appreciated!
