Pasteorig not working in Layout Tabs

We're using AutoCAD Civil 3D 2017,

Copyclip / Pasteorig workflow works fine in ModelSpace and PaperSpace between separate drawings.

But, within the same drawing file PaperSpace Layouts Pasteorig does not work. To clarify, No copied objects are created anywhere in the receiving Layout.

Any Ideas?

From the AutoCAD 2017 Help, "This command functions only when the Clipboard contains AutoCAD data from a drawing other than the current drawing."

There is a work-around to paste to original coordinates between layouts.

- Select the objects you want to copy to another layout.

- Ctrl-Shift-C or COPYBASE command, specify 0,0 as the basepoint.

- Go to the other layout

- Ctrl-V or PASTECLIP command, specify 0,0 as the basepoint.
