PART BUILDER PIPE CREATION

Hi,

I am having trouble creating a pipe containing arc at the top for encasement purpose. The dimensions I give in the part builder automatically changes when it is inserted into the modalspace. How can I rectify this issue so that I can use the pipe of the required dimensions? FYI, all the constraints and the dimensions and equations are already tried and several combinations have been executed. Unfortunately, every possibility gave me the same result.

It's not clear what you are trying to achieve here. Perhaps post a screenshot.

All entities should be constrained together and controlled by dimensions etc.
You can only have one profile in pipes to generate the 3d element from. I assume encasement you mean the trench / surround. So you'll need to detail this not the pipe.

It's probable that you have detailed geometry for the external surrounds but these are not being generated as they are not part of a profile.

It seems like the issue you’re facing with part builder dimensions might stem from constraints being automatically adjusted when inserting into the model space. To solve this, try adjusting your insertion scale or check if the part builder settings are overriding your manual inputs when transitioning to the model space. Double-check all unit settings as well.
