parcel map check report counter-clockwise

I'm guessing the answer is a simple setting that I'm missing, but how can I get my parcel map check to run counter-clockwise? The stubborn thing insists on going clockwise. In the Analysis tab of the Parcel Properties dialog I've tried checking the 'Process segment order counterclockwise' box but it doesn't stay checked after exiting the dialog. In the Create Reports - Parcel Mapcheck Report dialog there is a box for 'Process segment order counterclockwise' but it's greyed out so I can't access it. If it helps any I have C3D 2019 on Windows 7.

Thanks,

Renee

Dumb question have you tried reversing you boundary?

Edit: three's a option, for that in percales....

rl_jackson, reversing the boundary is an interesting idea but I'm not sure how to go about doing it.  You mention that it's an option in parcels (I assume 'percales' was an autocorrect of what you intended to say parcels), but which option in which parcels dialog?

Thanks,

Renee

You think it would work there, but it does not. Its in the actual report itself. When you run the map Check report, highlight your parcel and the "Process segment order counterclockwise" will darken up. Its in the bottom left corner of the window. See attached.

jefflambert9091,

That's it.  I thought I had tried that but when I read your comment very closely I realized I had the parcel checked but not highlighted.  Once I highlighted it the counterclockwise checkbox became active.

Thanks!

Renee, for the Mapcheck in the parcel properties this can be toggled to always be on in the Parcel ExportAnalysis settings.

Unfortunately, the stock Mapcheck report does not use this setting so it needs to be toggled for each parcel in the report form. I've previously made modifications to this report to address other shortcomings, so I just posted an update which addresses the default setting for the Clockwise and Across Chord options in the report. You may download the file from this post. Be sure to read some of the more recent previous posts in that thread for how to use the new report.
