All,

im fairly new to civil 3d and i'm trying to get myself arounf parcel tools.

i have the project ( part of it) as per the image below

the issue is that when im trying to apply "SLide Line - Create" command at the left side of the blocks  i get the "no solution found" message.

In the opposite side it works without any problems.

i have visited previous posts on this matter but still .. "no solution found"

Any ideas how to work around this issue?

the blocks have been parcelized from closed poluline entities.

Thanks,

AY

Post your drawing file.

Off topic: Not being a metric user, I find it interesting that your area labels are in acres while your primary units are meters. Is that common in your part of the world? I though metric areas would be in hectares.

Hi Tim,

it is indeed unusual and i would expect the units to be in metric, but i'm less bothered with that.

its an easy fix.

Any advise on the main topic?

Thanks,

AY

How deep is that parcel? You are telling it to use a maximum lot depth of 25m, which may not be enough to define the new lots. If those other lots are ~12m wide (min) per your parameters then it appears they may be more than 25m deep. Try increasing that 25m depth and see if it works.

Once I see the drawing, I might be able to identify a solution...

It is impossible to say.  It is mostly like not an error with the tool, but rather one of these parameters has been violated.  Try setting "Use Maximum Depth" to No, then easing the other parameters.
