Overlapping corridors

I have two corridors that overlap. I don't know how to merge them, keeping only the top surface from each corridor. Ideas? Please see screenshots below.

I have found one solution. Use Analyze>Ground Data>Minimum Distance Between Surfaces. This makes a 3dPoly at the intersection. Then I create shapes to use as a boundary. The only problem is this solution only works as long as the corridor doesn't change.

You cannot merge corridors in that way. The best thing you could do is draw a FeatureLine along where the daylight lines meet, then target that FL.

Can the feature line be targeted with a standard daylight subassembly? I'll check.

yes you can target it by subassembly, but if something changes in corridors this part will not be correct.

so one solution is to create subbasembly using composer, and second one is  pasting surfaces in new empty one.

It's doing what you are telling it to which is for each corridor to daylight to existing grade.  That's not what you want it to do.  Think about which subassembly you're using.  There's too much to go into for a forum post, it's really a training issue, but look at the LinkSlopesBetweenPoints subassembly maybe.

Thank you! That solves more than one problem!
