Offset profile disappearing

Hi everybody, I ran into some strange problem with offset alignment. For reason unknown to me one offset profile disappeared from model, while it is still available in Prospector or in profile view.

It happend to me for 4th or 5th time, yet I wasn't able to determine the cause or solution for this. I am using Civil 3D 2018.

I have a drawing with several centerline alignments (red ones) and their offset alignments (yellow ones), terrain surface and 3 corridors.

The offset alignments have assigned manual widening. As I progressed, I assigned cross slope regions to some offset profiles.

Later I needed a change in these regions, but as I tried to add a station i got an Error message saying "Station is not between profile start station and end station". I took a look into the Profile Data tab and saw that end station of the profile was for some reason identical to the start station. Correctly, the station was about 1200 m.

When I create a profile view of the offset alignment, it can be seen, that the profile is there, starting at station 420 and ending approximately at station 1200. It disappeared in 3d view (though the other alignments, even those with offset profile and cross slope regions, are visible). Furthermore this missing profile corrupted the connected alignment profiles I created in the intersection area.

Thank you for your help in advance!!

Same thing is happening to me. Im using offset alignments and profiles to design my roadways. Its convenient because its easy to add widenings and edit cross slopes, if there's no need for complex superelevation. I have noticed, that when u start adding widenings to offsets, and then later when you have to make a design edit (editing a widening or editing the horizontal centerline etc.), the offset profile becomes broken. Usually, it breaks at the station (not the precise station, but somewhere near) of a random widening. Only workaround i have right now is to delete the offset alignement along with the profile (saving the widening data before delete) and then redoing the offset and manually inserting the previous widenings. Imagine if you have like 20 widening regions on your offset, this is a pretty frustrating thing to happen. Any insight from smarter people can be very helpful here.

A picture showing what's happening.

Funny thing is, when i move the widening, the profile changes and in the moment when i havent snapped it to position, it shows the profile intact. When i place the widening in position, the profile changes to broken again.
