i tried to use the offset alignment command in order to build another corridor that is related to the main alignment's corridor, and i noticed that the cross slope is constant.
As a street designer, usually the streets has a changes in slope, which is why there is a superelevation slope in the main alignments data.
is there any way that i can use the superelevation in the offset alignment instead of a constant slope?
Hi @Nezar1DDFJ3, I think there is not an available tool that allows you to use the superelevation instead of the constant crossfall you mentioned. However, once you create the offset alignments and their respective profiles using that crossfall, you can access the Offset Profile Options, and there you can try to resemble your superelevation diagram...
Add stations and crossfall values as desired
This a little tedious, but doable.
