You didn't mention your version. It works correctly in 2018.

This issue just started happening at one of the stations here. That station is running C3D 2018 and hasn't had that issue until today. And line by <whatever> command is causing the issue. Any one found a solution?

Thanks,

Joe

I'm experiencing the same issue with certain commands in C3D 2018. Object snaps automatically turning off and resetting to zero.

Any fixes to this issue?

Cheers

I didn't think this was an error?  More of a programing choice to disable object snap during commands where general object snaps would be unhelpful.  In these command I always use shift + right click to bring up the OSNAP window and specify the object snap that I need.  After the command is finished my objects snap settings return to normal.

Do you know of a way to switch this programming choice off? Because it's bloody annoying. The most recent command it happens with is MVSETUP when aligning viewports. Object snaps are required for this command. Happens with others too but can't recall which ones.

Try the OSNAPOVERRIDE command

This topic seems to have been discussed at some length here:

I am assuming you are experiencing the same issue.  Does shift + right click bring up object snap options?  Is this not a suitable workflow?

I am in 2022 and the same thing happens to me when I am in the BD line command.  SUPER annoying.

Its a known issue that is incredibly annoying. I am a surveyor and I compute plats everyday using the Bearing/Distance command. Every once in a while it works but 98% of the time I have to go back and individually turn my snap preferences back on. I so wish they would fix it.
