Null Structures Not Visible in Plan View

Can't seem to get Null Strucres to show up at all in model space whenever I insert them into a pipe network or when I swap parts out to them. If I can't see them I can't select them and therefore have difficulties editing them. If I drag the pipes away using grips the null structure appears. I've tried to import styles from other drawings where they do show up but still have the problem. Using Civil 3D 2013. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Setup a Null Style that has a circle or some symbol assigned and set to a no plot layer. This would have to be setup in your Part Family to auto select it each time you insert one as well.

So I created a new style called "NULL" and changed the part style in the parts list. Still no luck. I changed the existing null structures to this style but every time I attach a pipe to the null structure it disappears. Frustrating to say the least. I'm sure it's a simple setting somewhere that's goofing me up but I'll be darned if I can figure it out.

Steve. First let me say thank you for your speedy replies. I don't often post and when I do it's out of complete and utter frustration. I found the solution, oddly enough, under a setting in the pipe styles themselves. I had the "Clean up pipe to pipe connections" box under the plan tab checked. Ugh, I new it was something simple! Thanks again for your help. It's why I love this community! Hopefully this will help someone in the future.

No problem. Didn't think of that issue... save that style in a template somewhere so you don't have to keep resetting it. Smiley Happy

Thanks for posting your solution.  I was running into the same problem and it was driving me crazy.  Unchecking "Clean up pipe to pipe connections" worked!!!
