Need Northing and Easting Reference Grids on my Surface!!!

Hello In civil 3D 2015 I have imported my points and created a surface successfully. Now i want some grid lines on x and y axis to give me a clue about northing and easting of the points. I did not find it anywhere else in the forum or on youtube or on google so I was wondering If somebody could help me do that please.

Dear Friend,

By hitting F7 key you can get the grid turned on/off.

You can edit the defaults by dsettings command.

Thanx for you reply dear friend but that is not what I am asking for. What I exactly need is Some vertical and horizontal major grid lines with northing and easting coordinates in them when i save it as a pdf plot. I will attach an example so you might get a better understanding of what I'm trying to ask. in this attachment you can find an example of what I need.

Thank you

You might also find it useful to turn on the coords

I believe that others have used THIS method to create a reference grid in paper space and then used the CHSPACE to bring the grid into model space.
