Hi All
anybody has an idea about automatic naming about corridor regions. civil 3D giving the name as
RG - SEC-2 - (1)
RG - SEC-2 - (1) [Copy]
RG - SEC-2 - (1) [Copy] [Copy]
RG - SEC-2 - (1) [Copy] [Copy] [Copy]
RG - SEC-2 - (1) [Copy] [Copy] [Copy] [Copy]
RG - SEC-2 - (1) [Copy] [Copy] [Copy] [Copy] [Copy]
instead of that i need like this or anything same....
RG - SEC-2 - 1
RG - SEC-2 - 2
RG - SEC-2 - 3
RG - SEC-2 - 4
RG - SEC-2 - 5 ( see attached image)

This method will work only when you are creating the corridor.
I have some targets for width and elevations. In this case I have to target each region separately. It will take time more than expectationsAfter creating the corridor, and targeting I need to split it as different regions. That time it is naming as copy….copy…copy….copy….
i need to split regions by this methord, any idea to do this the name 1,2,3 etc …. Instead of copy….copy….
I don't think it is possible when splitting the corridor; I just manually rename the regions as I go which isn't ideal but works.

Thanks Neilyj
Me also doing the same way, what you said. But now I need to design a residential road network which having many parking’s transitions etc.. in this case even one alignment having more than 100 regions. It is hard to rename entire the project corridor regions.
Does the name really matter? Select areas in the Corridor with Corridor Properties open and the area is highlighted.

That corridor properties dialog is going to be a nightmare to manage with that many regions. Is there a more efficient workflow you could use? Do you need to model everything?

You could use Dynamo to do this.
Use all this node.
The result should look like this.

Hi Rinat,
Where can you find decent training materials that show workflows like this in Dynamo?
Thanks in advance!
Hi @ocastaneda,
https://primer.dynamobim.org/ has good and understanding information for dynamo. Here you get basic concepts.
Autodesk University offer good expo for dynamo, too.
