Mtext Properties height scaling

There is an Mtext object with this formatting code " \H0.33333x; " . So when I set the text height in properties to 24 it shows a height of 8 in the text editor. Never seen this before. How could I manipulate the scaling? Could I change it to \H0.5 if I wanted to?

This happens when you override the text height for only some of the text using character formatting, then delete the original, unformatted text. For example, if you make an mtext with height 4, then go into the mtext and override some of the text to be height 2 (using the ribbon or toolbar), then delete all the remainder text that is still height 4.

As far as I know, there is no way to directly change this character formatting (i.e. change the formatting from H0.5 to H0.3333) but you can remove the formatting entirely, by using the "remove character formatting" command.
