Every time I type "mtext", then "r" for rotate, pick my rotation with grips, it takes my rotation and adds 90 degrees. See images. The test shown in the images, I've clearly asked it to put my text at just over 90 degrees. however, the text ends up at 195 degrees. It does this every time I use mtext. Nothing else does this. line by bearing works fine. line by azimuth works. When I click on an existing line, it's properties show the correct rotation. UCS is set to world. Typing the rotation in during the mtext command exhibits the exact same behavior. For example, if I type "mtext", then "r", then "90", the text is rotated to 180 degrees. I'm at a loss here.

I would check the SNAPANG and see if it is set to non-zero. Its a weird issue, I'm very curious what the cause is in case any of my people see it.
Hi George,
All drawings or just one? Have you tested in a new out-of-the-box template drawing? Can you post a drawing that does this?

Solved the problem. run the command "units", then click "direction..." at the bottom of that dialog box. This effectively changes what 0 degrees is. It was incorrectly set.
Thank you for reporting the solution.
