Modify Point Datum in Survey Data Base

I have about 100 points that have bad elevations because they were thrown out by the field crew on purpose (wetland flags). The elevations of these points don't matter so I want to just drop them all to zero as not to cause confustion further along in the design process. I found that I can edit each individually through the edit points box but Is there a command or way to edit multiple points at once? I can export it to excel, fix them in excel, then import them back but that is backwards and cumbersome.

Any advice?

Create a new Point Group of the Points you wish to change.

Open Properties Palette > Prospector of Toolspace > Point Groups > Rt. click on Wetland point group > Select > Properties Palette > Elevation : *point elevation varies* > Change entire pt group to zero at once here.

This will not update the Survey Database but the drawing points, then the points can be exported on Output Tab > Export Points > "Limit points to point group" > Select the new group.

Delete old points from Survey database import new ascii file into survey database.

A lot of  the above is conceptual as there are several possibilities or different ways of going about this task.

Basically the same amount of steps as exporting to excel. Very cumbersome.
Would be much easier if we could unlock the survey database and modify in
real time or have specific database cogo commands like every other survey
product out there.

If all your wetlands flags have the same name and they are not locked from using a survey database, all you have to do is right-click on points in the prospector tab, sort the list by raw description (pic the raw description column) scroll to the wetland flags which if they are consistently named should be grouped together in the point list. Select all the point to edit with the Shift key (standard widows selection) hover over the elevation column right-click and select edit.

Select the points to edit in the Networks->Network->Non-Control Points->EditPoints panorama, right-click the Elevation column header, select Edit, enter the new elevation in the offered cell, all selected points will then have the same elevation.

Yep I didn't see the word database. You can do the same thing there as well. Sometimes you may have to click the Update Points afterwards.

Really late. But found a solution after happening upon this thread with the same problem...

Toolspace > Survey Tab > open database (containing points that require a change) for edit > right-click survey points > points > 'unlock in drawing' >> Go back to prospector and edit datum as required (points will now bend to your will)
