MLEADER Text Mask

I'm sorry if this has been asked before and I'm sorry if this isn't the correct forum to post to. I'm curious if there is a way to added a text mask to the text in MLEADERS. I'm aware of the background mask but that's not what I'm after. Sometimes the background mask masks too much. Any way to just add a halo/text mask around the MLEADER text in lieu of a background mask?

Thanks!

Not automatically. You can create a Wipeout of any shape or size you want and move it behind the text. Create a group to keep the Wipeout with the text.

I don't believe so. The only text that you can put a background mask on, is the Dimension texts within DIMSTYLE. As for single/multiline text and multileader text you can only create the text first then change the background mask in the properties.

Sorry, no halos, however you can put a text mask on mleader text same way you put a text mask on multi-line text. Whether mleader or mtext you can adjust the ‘size’ of the mask by using ‘offset.’ The smaller the offset, the smaller the text mask.
