Missing band data on profile view for one point

Hi,

I have a profile view as per pic below. The red and green profiles are surfaces (I couldn't figure out a way to get the data bands to reference a projected 3dpolyline). The gap in the middle is due (intentionally) to a max triangle length restriction. I've highlighted with red where there should be one more point showing up in the top 3 data bands. There's an ordinate line, but no data. Any clues how to get this to show up?

I've also attached a cut down version of the drawing which hopefully will help. Any other pointers welcome.

Thanks

Mick

Dear Friend,

Go to profile view properties.

Then move on to bands tab

On each band go to edit current selection

On the edit current selection window you will find the display tab.

You can see the major and minor stations are turned off in layers.

You can turn them on and check.

Further make sure your EG surface is updated properly. I see a warning that the reference is broken.

Thanks

@Jeew-m thanks for the detailed reply. Unfortunately this does not solve what I'm trying to do.

You will see that the bottom 2 bands relating to my EG surface already do as you suggest - i.e. displaying stations.

What I am trying to achieve for the top 3 bands is to display the geometry points only - which is occurring except for the 1 location as identified in the picture of my original post, so to the left of the -1.50 depth, there should be another one (-1.60m depth). Why is this single point displaying an ordinate line, but not the 3 bands of data?

As a side note, the EG surface references a text file which I haven't included. The EG surface isn't really relevant to my issue.

thanks

Hi Mick,

I see what you mean. I am guessing that the surface at that point may not be read possibly because the PI falls in the "gap" or maybe due to the large coordinate space?

If you add a tiny weeny (0.000001) PI to the cable alignment, the band data will show up.TinyPI.JPG
