Migrating custom settings from 2024 to 2023 Version

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to export all my current settings in Civil 3D 2024 to the 2023 version. I know I’m going from a newer version to an older version, so I can’t use the migration tool. What is the manual way of doing this if possible? So, all my support files, cui and hot keys are properly mapped?

thank you,

You could try saving an arg file of you 24 settings for 23, but I can definitely say this is not recommended. Most here won't even push a 23 arg file to 24 it's easy enough to take the effort to create the links etc for the newer version.

I wouldnt recommend it, but you could try the manual migration steps, in reverse.

Civil 3D doenst support migration at all, which is why there isnt a migration tool supplied with it.
