Making the viewport border easy to transfer to model space

It surprises me that it hasn't been brought up yet (as far as I can see). I wish it was easier to transfer a viewport boundary than to have to draw a line boundary and use changespace command to put it in Model space.

It would be so much nicer if you could click on the viewport and have an option to add it to model space and if you adjust the viewport it adjusts the frame in model space to match.
