Linework Code Set, Figure Prefix Database, Description Key Set export/import?

Is there a way to "externally" manipulate the Linework Code Sets, Figure Prefix Databases, Description Key Sets?
1. I have been able to import all of these from one drawing to another via Master View in Toolspace.
2. I have been able to save the .f2f_xdef, .fdb_xdef for the Linework Code Set and Figure Prefix Database, and save them to another computer/storage server.

The problem starts when trying to get this information to a surveyor in the field. We use Trimble survey equipment. is there a way to import/export these blocks of information to any of the Trimble software, or a spreadsheet?

Our surveyors have always just had little cards with the field codes and linework information spelled out on them, and then they input it in the field as they were shooting in the points.

All three, can be selected in Civil 3D, right clicked, copy to clipboard, and then pasted to Excel.

The best way is if your using TBC, is to create a excel file of the Description Keys by doing a selection of the keys using the windows copy and paste to excel (there's also some apps for this) I've not tried the figure database, but I guessing it will work the same way. Then in TBC you can create a new FXL file that contains all the stuff by importing it from the excel file. Trimble's YouTube channel has some videos on creating the custom FXL from this excel in TBC.
