Linetypes

My linetypes with text in them seem to develop an odd hiccup when they make sharp turns, (see attached screen shot) has anyone every seen anything like this before?

Please post you screenshot using the photos buttton in the forum. No one wants to open a  possible virus inflicted word document

Looks like that might have something to do with elevation. I set the elevation of the line at 0 on all vertex's and see if that doesn't fix the problem.

Verify the default text height defined within the Text Style used by linetype is set to zero.

These are figure lines, so they take on the elevations at the points they are connecting to at those vertices, this is not necessary for the Utility lines so much as certain figure lines that I will need to use as break-lines.

To that end; can I set the figure lines I want to a zero elevation as they are drawn in when I process the database or will that effect all the lines in said database, which I can not have.

You can set the figure at 0 or flattened with the figure prefix database. So if you have a figure prefix for your sanitary sewer line, you just need to flatten that one. I do figures that are individual for various linetypes so that I can place things like fences on a single layer and the figure controls linetype, and isn't dependent on a layers linetype.
