Lines not showing on specific file

I am currently having trouble with one of my files. The problem is that the lines within the drawing itself are not showing. I have tried many different possible solutions, so I have decided to post to the forums in hope that someone can help.

My first problem I had was that there was 2 drawings overlapping each and there was 2 ViewCubes, where one of the ViewCubes and drawings couldn't be selected. After messing around with the view settings, I got to the stage where it looks on the attached image.

I have option a previous version of the file (have worked many hours on the new file) to show that it is limited to the single file and not the program. I have attached an image of the update and old drawing (new is on the left).

It would be greatly appreciated if someone could please help me out.

This may not work, but have you tried selecting in the "problem" windows and make sure the little Grid Line button is toggled ON as shown below?

Hi Mike,

Appreciate the response. Looks like it hasn't worked.

I can copy the the profile view across to the older version and it shows the lines correctly.

I might just have to work with that for the time being.

It looks like gridmode problem. But if not is it, try to audit the dwg file, close and open.
