Lines in viewport are not straight

Anonymous

Hi,

My viewport is not showing the lines straight as these are, in Model and Print Preview these lines are straight but in viewport these are not straight, look like broken. I tried by copying same drawing in new file and there in new viewport in new file but the result is same, broken lines.

Please help if any solution is availble

Thanks in advance

Muhammad,

I'm just not seeing it. Which of the two JPG's has broken lines?

Two things to try, REGENALL and AUDIT.

Did you do Print Preview from Model or Paper?
Could be a viewport override on the linetype.

(You mean the vertical magenta lines, right?)

Muhammad,

Yes, I'm getting the same thing as you. Unlocking the viewport makes the problem go away. I don't know what's going on here.

I turned off "high quality geometry" in hardware accelerations and it fixed this.

Where I can find 'hardware acceleration' and then high quality geometry in it

You can type graphicsconfig at the command line, or right click on this button in the lower right corner:

hardware acceleration.jpg

When the dialog box comes up, uncheck "High quality geometry (for capable devices)", press OK and you're done.
