Run into an odd issue copying a spreadsheet from Excel and Pasting as a table in CAD (C3D 2020). Doing so via Paste Special -> AutoCAD Entities as we typically do. This particular spreadsheet is formatted with a column of blank cells on far left for spacing.
The spreadsheet has worked fine for us for a few years now. User highlights all of the area with white background, including the blank cells on far left and right, copies to clipboard, then paste special to insert. No linking or anything like that. On the older machines, the table pastes perfectly as below:
Now...we recently rolled out several new laptops across the company, loaded with what I thought was the same profiles as the older machines. All are opening the same drawing template. Problem is that when someone pastes from this same Excel spreadsheet on the newer machines, you get this odd looking mess below. All of the columns are inserted at the right column width, but the the text is all being shifted one column to the left...basically omitting the column of blank cells:
This one has me stumped. I've tried comparing variables between machines and installations, and between drawings created between both machines where this had been inserted, and I can't find any anomalies or variables that are different. I assume I'm missing a variable of some sort that would control this, but I'm at a loss as to what it would be. Any thoughts?
