Label Text Size Issues

When I use an expression to control my label text size it stays constant and does not change as the drawing scale changes.

My expression is the following.

2.00/{Drawing Scale Conversion}

The following images show the pipe size, length slope and inverts. The pipe siz and the inverts have had their text size change  using the expression while the length and slope have text sizes of 2. They all should be the same but the expression is not working.

I am using Civil 3d 2014 SP2

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Dave

It has to do with the Annotation...select the label, and on the Annotate Ribbon, click Add Current Scale on the Annotation Scaling panel. Add the scales you need to the label. As you change scales, the label should change appropriately. Make sure you are using an Annotative text style in your label.

These are Civil 3D Pipe labels not Autocad labels.

Civil 3D labels do not require annotation to be added to them as text size is controled in the label or using an expression.

I have not had any issues until recently using my expression.

If you reset the label to it's original location (i.e.: non dragged state), do the sizes look okay?

Only the 1:1000 scale.  All other scales have the same issue.

Apologies if these are basic questions........

Is that a single component or more than one component?

If the latter, do they all have the same expression entered for their size?

Lastly, is your "Dragged State" display set to "As Composed"?

It is a multiple component label which adds the direction for the start and end of the pipe.  The length, slope and description are set to 2.00mm whereas the inverts are set to 2/{Drawing Scale Conversion}. Both of which should display the same size.  If I add the expression to the length, slope and description all components are the same and will not change according to the drawing scale. It's like the drawing conversion scale is not working.

I'll try a repair on Civil 3D or a reinstall. Hopefully that'll fix the issue.

The issue seems to be only with pipes.  All of my other labels work as expected. They change size when when the drawing/viewport scale changes.
