Label style composer

Hello,

I am learning on how to use this label style composer in autocad civil 3d. The youtube videos I found are not detail enough not showing all the components (information, general, label, dragged and summary).

Can anyone recommend me a couple of links or youtube videos.

Thanks

I don't know any videos that cover the complete concept. But the Knowledge Network is a good starting point for the Label Style Composer Dialog Box. Click through the topics and it give a good gloss on each section.

You really need to dive in deep with each style and try different things to get familiar with each type of style.

THIS is good information on dragged cogo points. [edited link)

Hi @Anonymous, The label style composer look the same for any C3D label, the difference is that the components change depending on the feature you are trying to create or modify labels from. So it will be easier for us to help you if you at least tell us which object label are you working with.

Hope this will help!

For the basics I went thru all the tutorials I could find, experimented a lot, and came to sites like this and Augi. My styles evolved over time as I figured out more things and as new features became available.

My personal quest is to build labels that are more adaptable rather than more labels

I'd be happy to help where ever I can.  I usually learn something in the process.
