Did you check the folder for the images? Did you move the images to another folder?

Did the images happen to be in a standard Civil 3D/AutoCAD Folder? If this is the case it may have been erased in the uninstall. Couldn't tell from the screen shot.

I managed to find the images in the destined folder after I posted :).

However, now I do not know why the CAD cannot locate the images though the images are still in the destination folder which the CAD indicates as in the screen shot (previous post). Also, I tried to re-reference them but the CAD does not show the destination folder as I tried.

I used the CAD 3D 2010 in the begining to creat the file but I unistalled the software as I faced a technical error.. therefore I used the CAD 2010 to open the file but it did not show the images...

Have you tried reloading the images? If you can post a better resolution image, we might be able to offer other suggestions.

Thanks

yes I tried to reload the images but the software doesnot show the destination folder C3D 2010\enu in the attached image so I cannot reload the images. thu, the C3D 2010\enu I was able to locate them in my drive.

Are you logged in as MU?

Open Windows Explorer and browse to c:\users\mu.

Do you see a folder called AppData? If not, you are not displaying hidden files and folders.

While still in Windows Explorer, go to Organize, Folder and Search Options, View tab, change the radio button to Show hidden files, folders  and drives.

As long as you're asking for advice, that's not a good place to put your image files. Better would be something like C:\Data\Images or something similar. This would allow the folder to be accessed by anyone who logs-on to this computer.
