Issues importing DEM geotiff

Hello, I am doing a project for a class and I'm trying to import a DEM file sourced from USGS Earth Explorer and cant seem to figure out what my issue is. The DEM file covers a large area in and around Dallas, so I created a data clip for my small area of interest (a golf course in Garland TX). Every time I import the DEM file nothing shows within my area of interest. I've attached the DEM file (which I know is in WGS84) and my drawing with my desire data clip. Drawing is also in WGS84.

Any help or guidance on where I'm going wrong would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Eric,
How are you importing the DEM?
I 've not had much luck creating a surface in a Geographic Coordinate System. Have you tried using a Projected Coordinate System?

Eric,
Texas North Central should work for your tiff.

Edit: I just opened your drawing and see that it is assigned UTM84-14N.

Hi Dave,

I've been trying to create a TIN surface, then adding my data clip, then adding the DEM. I started trying to use the texas state planes North central zone, but was having issues so I tried to just bring my drawing to the same coordinate system as the DEM, if that makes sense.

Eric,
Your DEM is in EPSG:4326.
I tried just now to tell C3D what coordinate system the DEM is in, but I'm not having any better luck than you.
I'd try cropping the DEM in QGIS, and maybe also warping/reprojecting it to Texas North Central.

Eric,
I don't know why it doesn't work with your drawing. It should but it doesn't.
When I open up a brand new drawing, and use your closed polyline as a data clip boundary, it works with no problem.
Drawing attached.(You might have to re-path the Tiff.)
