So I've been having a problem with how Civil 3D 2022 regarding how some appurtenances display in profile views.
As you can see in the attached image below, the 12" gate valve displays as an "X" in profile views, even though the 8" and 6" gate valves display the way they should.
The hydrant only displays correctly in profile views when viewed from the left or right side, and will only display as a line if viewed from the front or back.
Of course, the default appurtenances profile display setting style is that it's set to "Display as boundary" for both the gate valves and hydrants in the object style.
One workaround I used for the 12" gate valves is that I use the option "Display as user-defined block" in the options, but I would still like to somehow have them display as a boundary.
What can I do to fix this? Under the image is some product information on my copy of Civil 3D.
