Hi @DAVIDAKERS4520, do you mean the system variables shown at the SYSVARMONITOR? If so, you can look for them independently and find related information for each one. For instance, here I provide the link to the Autodesk Help for the SELECTIONPREVIEW variable.

Usually in every dialog box we have a help section (mostly at the bottom right of the window) that explains the settings and their effects.

not exactly , i am looking for a reference manual that explains what does or does not happen , When you check or uncheck an option in the program setting options for Civil 3D or any Autodesk program?
