I, like most of you, who use Infraworks to pull in surface data into Civil3d typically obtain an area larger than needed to make sure there is no issues with boundaries; however, in my recent experience, I am wanting to focus on a particular area of that surface. Within the Open Infraworks Model, when I try to do just that,
my area of interest, even though I am zoomed in on the area I want, zooms out so far that I cannot see nor zoom in close enough because the limits of the program. I tried to name a view but when you hit "Select Area" it does not allow you to zoom extents or named views as all it wants to do is draw a bounding box. How can I get this to work? Right now it has me zoomed out to where I am at E+## on my X/Y.
