Import survey point by PNEZD / NEZ, how do I get rid of the auto point numbers

In civil 3D, I try PNEZD to import survey point and I must assign numbers to every survey point ("P" column, the first column).
When I try NEZ, which I wish to omit the point numbers (i guess it generates automatically), and I fail. Numbers like 1,2,3,4,5..... are assigned to each point.

Is it possible to get rid of these auto numbers? I would prefer a point only with elevation and/or point name because these auto numbers are meaningless.
I tried some stupid ways such as exploding the block so that I could delete only the point numbers, but I need to do them one by one....... annoying.....

Thanks

In toolspace, in point groups, right click on your point group, if you don’ t have point groups, right click ALL POINTS, select Properties. Un next dialog box change the point label style by using the dropdown.

Toig,

Welcome to the Autodesk Forums.

I think Civil 3D needs to make a unique identifier for each COGO Point, so all you can do is decide whether to display them or not.

No, the points must have numbers.

But you don't need to show those numbers anywhere.

Change or edit your point label style to only display elevations and descriptions.

No, you don't have to explode the point, that wouldn't be right, too violent, too aggressive. Use finesse instead. Here's an elegant way that's less ......annoying......, here's the how-to:

1-Toolspace>Prospector tab>All points (or your point group).>Right click>Properties.1-Toolspace>Prospector tab>All points (or your point group).>Right click>Properties.2-Information tab>Point label style dropdown>then change the 'Style' Then OK.2-Information tab>Point label style dropdown>then change the 'Style' Then OK.

As has been mentioned. Civil 3D points must have numbers. The trick is not only in how they are displayed but in how they are created. You can decide that any point with a number over 10,000 is one that you can ignore the point number. So adjust the Point Creation tools so that your NEZ file imports with numbers over you selected limit.

Then create a point group for numbers over that limit and only display what portions of the point information you want.
