Import Profile View Crossing Label Styles from other DWG

Hello,

I'm trying to transfer some Profile View Crossing Label Styles from one drawing to another. I've tried drag and drop from the Toolspace Masterview, and the IMPORTSTYLESANDSETTINGS command, however nothing seems to work. Is there a workaround, or is this a known issue?

When you are dragging styles make sure that they do not have the same names.

Hello @Jeew-m @, sure, my styles don't have the same name. Have you managed to transfer them? Because if you have, that means that I am doing something wrong.

I just copied 2 Profile Crossing label styles from a drawing to another by drag-drop. C3D 2022 1.1 Update

No idea why it doesn't work for you. A workround could be to add it into a new empty temp file and try bringing it in from there. If that doesn't work, attach the temp file as a style reference and update that way. Let us know if you get it sorted out. This is all contingent on being able to add it to a temp file. You could try adding it to the temp file with a style reference too. That way you don't risk trashing all the styles in your live file.

Ok, seems like I was doing the drag n drop wrong. Thanks for the answers.

However, I noticed that with the IMPORTSTYLESANDSETTINGS command, i can't transfer the labels between my drawings. On the other hand, when I attach the same dwg as a style reference this seems to work. I think this is kind of weird, unless I am doing something the wrong way again. C3D 2022 1.1 Update

Yes it is weird if drag and drop doesn't work. I suggest you file a support request and work direct with Autodesk on that.

Meanwhile it sounds like you have a workaround.
