Import large LandXML file freezes

I am trying to import a large LandXML file. I am doing a full import (as opposed to a quick import that just brings in the points. I'm doing this to ensure that the surface comes in correctly).

This seems to make my program freeze. I was wondering if there is a way to reduce the area I bring in by specifying a boundary. For example, I have a LandXML for a huge area but I just need to edit a specific intersection. Can I draw a box around the intersection and tell C3D to bring in the LandXML that is inside the box?

No way that I know of, but then I learn something new here every day.
If you can get that LandXML Imported without crashing, then you can Data Clip your Surface and move it up.
