@Anonymous ,

Great question, and thank you for bringing it to the community forums. I see you are trying to export Civil 3D model elements potentially entirely to Aveva E3D inclusive to all things of the Civil 3D drawings/ model.

I am not aware of a way to do that, is there any file formats that you would care to list the Aveva E3D imports, maybe we can cross reference and find a way to at least import so of the elements. I did see a video that discussed the export/ import of Plant 3D to Aveva E3D. As seen below.

Hi,
To import CIVIL 3D files into AVEVA E3D, you must use the AVEVA E3D TERRAIN module with files in the following formats: *.stl, *.XYZ, *.IGES, or *.STEP.

For optimal performance, we recommend using the STL or XYZ format.

You can obtain these formats from Civil 3D by exporting the surface to XYZ (CSV) or by converting the surface to a solid (using the _AeccExportSurfaceToSolid command) and then exporting the surface solid to STL (using the _STLOUT command or EXPORTARST in Spanish).

I hope this helps. Best regards.TerrainSample_AVEVA-E3D_SurfaceCivil3D.png
