I dont know how to create an area breakdown for my slope analysis

Im new to Civil. On 30day trial to see if it what it can do for me at work. I Have created the slope surface and run an analysis with required %'s imputed. How do I get the areas for each region to show in both 2D and 3D? Appreciate any help.

Welcome to the forum and the world of Civil3d.

The steps are:

- display slopes in your surface style

- undertake a slopes 'analysis' to define your slope categories

- add a legend table showing slope categories

- modify the legend table to include 3D area (2D area is usually there as a default)

Thanks Mick. That was excellent. Appreciate the nice and clear steps too. More than what I expected.

I'll have a play with trying to break the slope anaylsis down further into individual, developable land, cell blocks if thats possible.
