When I have pipes that are steep relative to the flow the are carrying I often get the hydraulic grade line going down as you go upstream. The only fixes I have found so far is to flatten the pipe slope or if it's occurring at the last pipe or near the outfall then sometimes raising the tailwater works. Neither one is a good solution. I have the issue in 2013, 2014 and 2016. Any one know of a way to fix this without using bad data?
