Hydraflow Hydrographs - Pond Tools Results vs. Hydrograph Tab
When routing a pond in Hydrographs, I'm getting different results between the Pond Tools and Hydrographs tabs. Based on previous results in similar software, I was expecting the results that I'm getting from the Pond Tools trial route. The Hydrographs tab results have a higher Peak Flow and Maximum Elevation in comparison. I've applied the fix released this summer dealing with the increasing pond discharge situation, so I don't believe that has anything to do with this. Any thoughts?
Noticed the same thing. I don't think the pond tools accounts for the permanent pool elevation that is defined in the reservoir data. It would makes sense to include this in the pond tools. It defeats the purpose of the pond schematic to leave this data out.
Right now I am using the pond tools as a "go-by" and verifying my elevation vs. time fits what I'm wanting.
