How to use Daylight Subassemblies correctly?

The idea is to design 10 cm of growing soil for grass on the slope of the road. Is it possible to have a subassebly like this? I just cannot figure out how.

Just take the "Generic" Subassembly "LinkWidthandSlope" and add a Link code "Grass".

Or is it too simple?
