How to turn off coincidents

I am trying to drop points on top of a drawing then rotate or shift the points, but when i drop the points on an intersecting line it creates a coincident( i believe also i saw a constraint or restraint? created on one) . when i then try to rotate just the points it moves/rotates the drawing and the points together.  I would like this not to happen automatically is there a way to turn it off?

Hi @Anonymous

click on the status bar customization menu (the first icon on the right - looks like 3 horizontal lines), then check mark the Infer Constraints feature, this will then let it show up on your status bar to be toggle off!

Hope this helps,
