How to rotate parcel labels?

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi guys;

I'm working with 45º (aprox) parcels and the area and parcel number labels are fixed at 0º or 90º (because i made 2 label styles, with 0º and 90º).
But i don't want to create a new style for every inclination of every parcel label, so I wonder if there is a way to rotate the label or make it's inclination "linked" to the parcel border (like the segments labels).

Any ideais?

Thank you!

Rodrigo,

Nothing automatic that I know of. About the closest you'll get is the way Osvaldo Junior shows in this video (about 1:20 in):

Not that I can see, but I'm sure someone will have a work around for this...

But this does sound like a great "idea" to post within the "idea" forum... Just my opinion

While parcel labels will be fixed to whatever is in the style, you can rotate an Area Label (also called a Parcel Face Label in Properties). I put the parcel label on hidden and then create Area Labels with the same information, and when you mouse over the node, you will see the options to move and rotate the label.
