How to load template to an ACAD drawing ?

Hi guys, recently i received a ACAD drawing from client to ask me update the additional features through cogo points. However, when i first open the ACAD drawing using Civil 3D, i found that the template (in the setting qnew) no longer used. At this point, i wondering if anyone could advise me on how to import my Civil 3D Template to this acad drawing. To the experts out there, kindly guide me on this. Thanks and appreciate your effort !

Regards,
Kelv

have a look at this:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-civil-3d/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2016/...

One of the section details how to import styles and settings. You could also simply insert your template into the other drawing.

I believe that the safest way is

1.  Start a new drawing using your template, save to the name you want.

2.  Insert your "received" drawing in this file.
