How to import feet and inch drawing in to the decimal feet drawing using XREF command

I have a decimal feet (NAD83 Georgia State Planes) drawing. How can I import an Architectural Feet and Inch Drawing onto it using the xref command? (Usually when imported through xref a length of 100' is shown as 1200')
Please Help.

The simplest thing is to scale the xref by 12 once it’s loaded and then move and rotate it in place.

Hi Sanet,
Your archetectual-feet and inch.dwg is in Feet Units, so AutoCAD is confused on what to do with it.
In your NAD83 Georgia State Planes, East Zone, US Foot.dwg set INSUNITS = 0, INSUNITSDEFSOURCE = 1, and INSUNITSDEFTARGET = 2. Then use XREF Command.

In the xref dialog

origin and rotation are zero

scale x=1/12, y=1/12,z=1
